September 3, 2011Mary Jane + Mike: Hailey, Idaho Reherasal Dinner
August 22, 2011Mary Jane and Mike picked the perfect days for both their rehearsal dinner and wedding here in Hailey, Idaho! Their rehearsal dinner was a good ‘ole country themed affair complete with cowboy hats, cowboy themed table dressings and oh-so delicious food! Heather Minor of Heather Minor Events did a fabulous job putting everything together! Here are my favorite images from the rehearsal dinner…check back soon for pictures of the wedding!
Victoria + Jackson: Redfish, ID Wedding
July 27, 2011Victoria and Jackson…I could write an essay on how amazing the two of you are! I had the pleasure of meeting Victoria and Jackson during their engagement portrait session last winter and, after spending several hours with them, knew their wedding would be fabulous. Victoria and Jackson grew up in Twin Falls and met on debate team. They ended up falling in love and, after spending some time in Sun Valley, found their home in Chicago. Their wedding day was perfect. The location, Red Fish Lake, was unbelievable and the weather could not have been better! Victoria looked radiant in her custom gown and Jackson was as handsome as ever. I have a special place in my heart for these two and will definitely visit them in Chicago when I visit my family this fall.

Marie and Donnie: Welcome Dinner
July 15, 2011I was honored to photograph Marie and Donnie’s welcome dinner at the Gun Club and Trail Creek! Their guests arrived to Sun Valley for a fabulous start to what will be a beautiful wedding celebration! The guests first gathered at the Sun Valley Gun Club to shoot some rounds as well as compete in a friendly competition
They then headed to Trail Creek to enjoy cocktails, horseshoes, bocce ball and dinner while listening to the tunes of Old Death Whisper. I am off to get a good nights sleep before joining the ever-fabulous Hillary Maybery to capture Marie and Donnie’s wedding. A HUGE shout-out to Heather Minor and Sun Valley’s Nicole Ackerman on putting together a fabulous event. Here are a few of my favorite photos!

Victoria was absolutely stunning…

LOVE these two!!!

I am currently enjoying a morning breakfast at the Redfish Lake Lodge in Stanley, ID overlooking the serene lake and larger than life sawtooth mountains. I arrove here yesterday to begin the journey of photographing Victoria and Jackson’s wedding. Yesterday after a few hours of scouting the area, I met up with Victoria and Jackson and 30 lucky guests at the Bridge St. Grill in lower Stanley for their rehearsal dinner. The food was amazing and laughter was abundant on the deck of the beautiful restaurant overlooking the river. Here are a few of my favorite images:

Jessie + Chase: Hailey, Idaho Wedding
March 11, 2011Jessie and Chase’s wedding was definitely one-of-a-kind! There were soo many great moments and images from their wedding, I had a hard time narrowing down the images to post on this blog! I met Chase a few years ago when when he was “modeling” for a snowmobile photoshoot I did for Scott Sports. When Chase called me to announce that he had proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Jessie, I was soo happy for him! Then he asked if I would be interested in photographing their wedding and of course I said YES! There were soo may incredible details incorporated into their perfect wedding day, that you MUST read/view on! To view their slideshow, click here (please allow 15-30 seconds to load).
Kudos to the vendors who helped make this wedding wonderful!

Food: Fresshies

As a wedding gift, Chase’s sister, Amy bought the two a custom Schwinn tandem bicycle…too cute!!

Jessie and Chase also wanted to incorporate their love of skiing into the wedding and used a chair lift as their guest sign-in…

Fresshies provided INCREDIBLE food!

There was also a custom plate displayed where guests could express their congratulations!

The speeches made by their family and friends were very funny and sparked a lot of emotion!

Their DJ really got the crowd on their feet!

Congratulations Jessie and Chase! I know you two will enjoy a lifetime of happiness!

Marla + Brett – Minneapolis Wedding
February 1, 2011I had the honor of photographing Marla and Brett’s wedding in Minneapolis, MN this past summer. I knew Marla from elementary school and was totally surprised when she contacted me about photographing her wedding!!! It was great catching up with Marla and our best friend, Teresa, in Minneapolis! Marla and Brett exchanged vows at the Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church then welcomed their guests at the FABULOUS Five Event Center! To see their slideshow, click HERE. Now onto the photos
Marla did a fantastic job on her gift bags!

Marla’s dress and flowers were exquisite!

I LOVED the expressions on Brett’s face when he saw his Bride walking down the aisle!

We took some great photos near the Church property, and as it began to rain, we headed to town to take some fun shots!

We moved to the Five Event Center for a great reception!

The photo booth was a hit!

The cake was beautiful!

For dessert, Marla and Brett offered a soft-serve ice cream machine, accompanied by a variety of toppings!

The Kids’ tables featured chalkboards and other fun items to keep them occupied.
