I first met Kyra and Nathan a few months ago when we were discussing their wedding day.  They are getting married in September at the fabulous Valley Club in Hailey, ID!  I shot their engagement shoot in Boise, where Kyra and Nathan currently reside.  We started out at the Botanical Gardens then hiked to their favorite spot.  I can’t wait to shoot this fabulous couple in September!!!  Below are a few photos from the shoot, their slideshow can be seen by clicking here.

We may not have traffic here in Ketchum, but we have lots of sheep, and they like to make you late for work!

This morning at around 7:55, as I was loading my dog in my car and heading to work, I saw this from my parking lot:

So I drove as far down the backroad, trying to beat the sheep, so I could cross to get to main street.  But I was too late.

Then, as I made it into work at 8:15, and was telling my coworkers how the sheep made me late, they started walking by my office window…

Just another day in good ‘ole Idaho!

Mindy and Bob’s wedding was an exceptionally special day for me to shoot because they were more than my clients, they are my friends.  When Mindy asked me last summer to shoot her wedding I was ecstatic!  I had met her and Bob while we were following the Wild West Motocross circuit.  I shot photos of the racers and they cheered on their son, Dylan.  Here are some pictures from their wedding (the slideshow can also be seen by clicking here)…

The vows were so special because they involved Dylan as well.  There were lots of laughter and tears!

Mindy’s Maid of Honor was her best friend/Sister in Law, Teri.  Her daughter Taylor was the flower girl…Mom and daughter were so beautiful! There were many arrangements from flower shops in Pasadena TX that helped to create a special romantic atmosphere.

The music was extra special on this day, as it was Bob’s band who played!  They even dedicated my favorite song, “Dead Flowers” by the Rolling Stones, to me!

This was such a sweet moment when Dylan was dancing with Mindy!

Mindy’s wedding was the first time I had ever witnessed the Money Dance!  It was great!

At the end of the night Mindy got on stage to sing with her man!!!  At the end, we all headed to the Wagon Wheel and continued to dance the night away!

Wow, I can’t believe how long it has been since I’ve posted anything on here!  I have been CRAZY busy lately and very busy editing photos!  In the last week and a half, I have had 4 photoshoots and I leave early tomorrow morning to fly to Pennsylvania for a motocross race!  I will begin posting photos just as soon as I can get caught up (somewhat) in the meantime, here’s a few photos from Mindy and Bob’s wedding.
