I absolutely ADORE this cute little family.  Sarah and Ian’s little girl is super adorable and full of personality.  Here are a few of my favorite photos from their session earlier this month.

Sarah: Kristin you did such a wonderful job on these and were so patient with Isla the "explorer" who didn't want to sit still. I can't thank you enough, we love them all.

I had a great time meeting Kim last month when she hired me to photograph a corporate event she hosted in Sun Valley last month.  She returned a few weeks ago and asked me to photograph her family, who I was SOO excited to meet, since I had hit it off soo well with Kim!  Just as I anticipated, her family was super fun and cute!  Here are a few of my favorite images from the photoshoot.

Katie and Zach are an ADORABLE couple and I absolutely loved capturing their adoration for one another during their wedding earlier this month.  We had a blast while taking their “reveal” photos and laughing throughout the day.  I wish the two of them a lifetime of happiness!

Amanda Seaward: Kristin-These are great and it was such a pleasure to plan a wedding for such a sweet couple.Katie, Zach and little Olivia I wish you lots of love for the future! Amanda

The word that comes to mind when I describe for Jennifer and Chad is simply, COOL.  They are an easy-going, incredibly-in-love couple.  Jennifer was super calm leading up to the “reveal” on her wedding day, and didn’t let any pre-determined “timeline” get in the way of her dream of marrying her best friend, Chad.  She wanted AWESOME photos, and wanted to enjoy her day.  We actually stayed “on-time” and she looked absolutely radiant throughout the day.  She prided herself on hiring small business in the valley that were owned and operated by WOMEN.  Kudos to Jennifer!!!  Jennifer and Chad, I wish you a lifetime of happiness!!

Rian and Chris are an absolute blast.  I had a GREAT time getting to know them during their engagement session over the summer, where they biked, lounged, wined and dined :)   I knew their wedding would be spectacular as Rian LOVES LOVES details!! Between the strategically placed wine barrels, ceramic red cups with markers to identify them with, and the amazing food and WINE, I can only imagine that her wedding day was everything she had been dreaming of!  Rian and Chris, you two are so fun, loving, gorgeous and totally deserving of your amazing friends and family.  I wish you a lifetime of happiness!!!

Wow.  It is hard to put into words what an incredible couple Katie and Mark are, and how absolutely incredible their wedding weekend was!!  I had a blast getting to know Katie and Mark during their engagement session and KNEW their wedding would be FABULOUS!!  Knob Hill Inn hosted their beautiful/fun rehearsal dinner.  Earlier on the day of the wedding Mark and his guys had a BLAST at Grumpy’s raising their schooners to the occasion, while the bridesmaids, all in matching robes, were most attentive to the OH-SO-GORGEOUS Katie!  After they exchanged vows at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, a bagpipe player led the guests a few blocks to Christina’s restaurant to enjoy some appetizers before heading to the Valley Club to celebrate the newlyweds!

The Rust Girls in Ketchum

September 23, 2012

For the past four years I have had the honor of photographing Mary and her two daughters: Sage and Morgan.  It has been wonderful to see the cute girls turn into beautiful young ladies!

Here’s a photo from the first photoshoot I did with the girls back in 2008!

Carlie and Ryan, I had such an amazing time getting to know the two of you during your engagement photo session that I was sooo excited to capture your wedding day!  When the day came I was delightfully surprised in how much time and effort you put into every detail of your wedding!!  Carlie, the way you “asked” your bridesmaids to be a part of your wedding with the custom made goodies in their custom made boxes was amazing!  Ryan, custom suits with the names of each of your groomsmen inscribed on the inside is such a thoughtful detail!  The entire day was absolutely perfect and quite fitting for such a perfect couple!  I wish you a lifetime of happiness!

I photographed Lisa and Stuart’s engagement session early this month, when the now 100,000+ acre Halstead Fire was in its infancy.  The sky had an eerie red hue to it and ashes from the newly burned area were falling from the sky.  So while it may have been difficult that day to see the crisp jagged lines that outline the Sawtooth Mountains, one thing was perfectly clear:  the love and affection that Lisa and Stuart have for one another.  These two laughed, kissed, held hands, and had a blast the entire time.  It was my great pleasure capturing their chemistry, seen in the images below….

Lisa and Stuart, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next summer!!!

Amanda Seaward: Love these shots as you are in one of my most favorite places on earth!
