I had the great pleasure of photographing Maureen and Kevin’s nuptials in Sun Valley during the last weekend of April. It was a very intimate ceremony full of tears, laughter and lots of dancing! Maureen and Kevin, I wish you a lifetime of happiness!

So, Kevin and Maureen eventually decided to not have him wear a flower on his jacket for the wedding, but this was a very sweet moment…

Yes!!! Maureen, you look beautiful!

Their BEAUTIFUL family!

Their daughters each played a song on the piano. Very nice.

Hi all! Wow, I have NEVER seen it rain soo much in SUN Valley since I moved here four years ago! I must admit, on Friday afternoon I was a bit worried about the two weddings I was about to photograph over the weekend, but they went off without a hitch! It was an excellent weekend photographing the nuptials of two very kind and very beautiful couples! I am still editing a wedding I photographed prior to this past weekend, so here is just a few sneak peek photos :) Happy Monday!

Hello all, I wanted to share something that is very near and dear to my heart. My good friend Monica Van Wegen just a few days after her birthday, found out she had two tumors in her brain. She was able to get an emergency surgery with one of the top doctors in San Francisco, however with top doctor service came a hefty bill. Monica also has a long, costly recovery process ahead of her and needs our help. This Thursday a benefit party will be held at Whiskey Jacque’s bar in Ketchum. The cost is only $15.00 and gets you beer and pizza! See details below. There will also be a raffle drawing held for some awesome prizes including a FREE 30 minute photoshoot provided by me! I hope to see you all there. If you can not make it, you can still help Monica out. Checks can be made out to: Bald Mountain Fund. In the memo line of the check write: In honor of Monica Van Wegen. Mail to: Bald Mountain Fund PO BOX 370 Ketchum, ID 83340. If you can make the party, be there by 7:00 to obtain your raffle ticket. The raffle will take place at 9:00, although you do NOT need to be present to win.
An image I took of Monica just days before she found out about her tumors:

The event flyer:

45 degrees and rainy…not the best weather for a volleyball tournament, but the staff at Sun Valley pulled it off! Sun Valley contacted the Open Room Furniture Store in town to obtain a few of Aeroplastik’s Queen of Love Chairs! I work for Aeroplastik’s sister company, Acerbis, and, of course, being such a dedicated employee, I decided to head over to the event to capture some images of our chairs in action!

Just returned from a long weekend photographing the nuptials of Lauren and Travis. It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to photograph more weddings in Mexico! I have a lot of weddings to finish up that I photographed prior to my travels to Zihuatanejo, but here’s a sneak peek of the gorgeous couple as well as a fun self portrait
Stay tuned for more!

Hillary and I

Last month I had the great honor of photographing the maternity of my great friend, Brittany, and yesterday I had the honor of photographing her twins, Izabell and Westin! They are both truly adorable and wonderful! Here are a few images I took of the new additions to her family….a full photoshoot will be posted soon
Brittany is as beautiful as ever!

Westin:

Izabell:

And of course, I had to post the photo Brittany took of me and my “niece and nephew” as I AM “Auntie KK” afterall!

hillary: congratulations Britt! Your babies are beautiful and so are you! also congrats to 'auntie kk' you are the best - xoxo
Amanda Seaward: Great pictures-Brittany looks amazing! And look at aunt KK-you are a natural.
I had a great time meeting Miss Dylan! She’s a very cute and happy 7 month old and is loved very much by her parents and her dogs!

After photographing for a while in Dylan’s house she started to lose her happy smile, so we headed outside to switch up the scenery.

Once we got to the red barn, no matter what I did, Dylan would not give me a smile, which will happen with babies her age, so I decided to call a wrap and promised mom and dad to finish the photoshoot another day.

Dylan, you are so fun and cute and I can’t wait to photograph you again soon!
Amanda Seaward: Sweet! Sweet! Sweet! Great job, Kristin!
hillary: KK -- these are all so CUTE! .....my fave is their dog licking Dylan's hand. Babies can have attitude and drama.... just like a super model too!! xo
Becky K.: Little Miss Dylan looks adorable! Great photos!
jamey allsop greene: Kristen, LOVE this shoot! Nice job!! What a gorgeous family, Dylan is crazy beautiful. Love to see the joy.
I feel soo special to be able to photograph the pregnancy of my very good friend, Brittany. She is a beautiful person and an excellent mother to a 6-year-old and wife to an incredible man. I photographed Brittany’s BABIES bump (yes, she’s pregnant with TWINS!) a few weeks ago at her house along with her daughter, Kayden. She is absolutely glowing inside and out! I can not wait to meet baby A and baby B! Now on to the photos!

We got into some finger paints so Kayden could write Bro and Sis on Britt’s belly

Kayden LOVES the camera as much as the camera loves her!
