Words can’t begin to explain the emotion and love that was felt during Jenny and Kelly’s truly beautiful and heartfelt wedding.  I began the day photographing a very nervous Jenny getting ready at the Sun Valley Salon, while Kelly was SUPPOSED to be writing her vows (;.  Instead I found her pacing the halls with a beer in her hand.  After they changed in their wedding day Dress and Suit, we laughed throughout their pre-wedding portraits.  Although there was plenty of laughter during moments of their beautiful ceremony, there wasn’t a dry eye as one of their readers shared the story of Edith Windsor and Thea Spyer’s epic love story.  The coctail hour, overlooking the big wood river, was filled with hugs, tears and laughter and the sentiment continued on throughout the evening with heartfelt toasts leading into Jenny and Kelly’s first dance to Same Love, surrounded by their friends who formed a circle with their holding hands.  Jenny and Kelly, you touched many hearts with your beautiful ceremony and the love you two share for one another.  Thank you.

Sneak Peek: Lindsay + Will

September 28, 2013

I can’t wait to share more images from this couple’s wedding, held yesterday at Knob Hill Inn just one day after our big snow storm here in Sun Valley!

Mindy Pereira: Love these photos Kristin and I can't wait to see all of them. As the mother of the groom we so enjoyed having you photograph the kids wedding. You did such a great job!! Thank you so much!

Amanda Seaward: WOO HOO Kristin. Can't wait to see them all. These are great and certainly show what a difference a day can make from snow to sunshine in Idaho!

I had an instant connection with Lisa and Stuart when I met them at Redfish Lake Lodge one year ago for their engagement session.  They are extremely fun and loving people and I was very excited to meet their family and friends on their wedding day.  Lisa put a ton of effort into the decor and personalization for their wedding reception site, so much, in fact, that they drove a U-Haul filled with wedding decor from Vancouver Washington to Redfish!  Their wedding day went off flawlessly and here are some of my favorite images from their special day:

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Kate over the past few years, and when I was asked to photograph her and Blake’s wedding I was elated!  Kate and Blake decided to have a very intimate (family only) wedding held in the backyard of their home in Hailey.  Although Blake saw Kate before the wedding (he even helped her get dressed!) tears rolled down his face as his best friend and now wife, walked down the aisle toward him.  Their vows were so very and touching and I’m sure their tears felt like rain drops falling on their bare feet as they stood in the grass sharing such sweet words.  After the ceremony we photographed them with their families and they enjoyed a family dinner.  Here are some of my favorite images from their beautiful day.

I had a blast photographing Catherine and Bob and their amazing children at their home in Ketchum.  Here are some of my favorite images from the session:

Payton: Class of 2014

I had such a great time photographing Payton’s senior portraits!  She is a talented athlete and has a great personality and is super fun!  Her awesome family was also able to join the photoshoot!

I had a blast exploring Parker’s beautiful ranch in Mackay, ID, and photographing him and his gorgeous fiancee Brittany.  These two are incredibly adorable and I couldn’t be happier for them.  Here are some of my favorite images from their engagement session:

I had a great time photographing the Searle family and their beautiful baby boy!  Here are some of my favorite images from the session
